Upload your own audio
MP3, M4A, WAV, AAC, or FLAC. Drop your file and Animation Machine shows duration, file size, and an inline preview before you render — so you know exactly what's going to land in the final video.
Auto-loop and auto-trim
The music is matched to your video's exact duration — looped if shorter, trimmed if longer. No ugly cut-offs at the end, no awkward silences in the middle.
Any aspect ratio
Render in 720p, 1080p, 4K, portrait (TikTok/Reels), or square (Instagram/LinkedIn). The video is auto-fit with letterboxing — or zoomed and cropped if you prefer to fill the frame.

H.264 for max compatibility, H.265 for smaller files at the same quality, or GIF for silent looping. CRF quality from Draft to Max — pick the trade-off that fits your use case.
FAQ
Adding Music to Video — Common Questions
What video formats can I add music to?
Animation Machine accepts MP4, MOV, M4V, and WebM video files. Drop the file in the dropzone, pick a track or upload your own audio, and the result is a finished video with the audio mixed in.
Where does the music come from?
Animation Machine pulls from Freesound's CC0 catalog — over 500,000 royalty-free tracks you can use commercially without attribution. You can also upload your own audio file (MP3, M4A, WAV, AAC, FLAC) if you have a track you'd rather use.
Can I use the music commercially?
Yes. The Freesound library Animation Machine searches is filtered to CC0 (public domain) tracks only. CC0 means no copyright restrictions and no attribution required — you can use the resulting videos in ads, products, social posts, and client work.
How do I find the right music for my video?
The music panel has mood pills — Cinematic, Upbeat, Lo-fi, Corporate, Dramatic, Ambient, Playful, Epic, Chill — for fast browsing. One click runs a search and shows preview-able tracks. You can also type a custom keyword if you have something specific in mind.
Will the music match my video's length?
Yes. Animation Machine automatically loops or trims the audio so it ends exactly when your video ends. You won't get a track that cuts off mid-beat or runs over the end.
Can I adjust the music volume?
Yes. The volume slider in the music panel sets the music level — 10% by default, which is a good baseline for background music behind dialogue or motion. Push it up to 100% for music-led videos with no narration.
Does the original audio in my video get removed?
When you add a new music track, it replaces the original audio. If you want to keep the original audio and skip music entirely, just don't pick a track — the render will run without modifying the audio decision.
What output formats are available?
MP4 (H.264 or H.265) for best quality and compatibility, or GIF for messaging and silent looping. Resolution options: 720p, 1080p, 4K, plus portrait and square aspect ratios for social platforms.
How much does it cost?
Animation Machine is $5 per month with unlimited renders — no per-export fees, no length cap, no watermarks. Cancel anytime from your account settings.
