What is an intro card?
An intro card is a short title screen that plays before your main video content. It typically shows your brand name, episode title, or a tagline on a clean background — giving your video a professional, broadcast-quality feel.
What video formats are supported?
Animation Machine accepts MP4, MOV, M4V, and WebM video files. The output is always a clean MP4 with the intro card seamlessly prepended.
Can I customize the intro text?
Yes. You can set a main title (up to 60 characters) and an optional subtitle (up to 100 characters). Font sizes are automatically scaled so the text always fits within the canvas width at any resolution.
How long can the intro card be?
You can choose from 3, 4, 6, or 8 seconds. 4 seconds is the default — long enough to read the title comfortably, short enough not to feel like a wait before the main content.
Can I add both an intro and an outro?
Yes. Animation Machine supports both in the same render. Set up your intro in the Intro Card panel and your outro in the Outro Card panel. The pipeline applies both automatically — intro first, then the main video, then the outro.
Does the intro match my video's resolution?
Yes. The intro card is generated at exactly the same resolution as your output video — whether that's 720p, 1080p, 4K, portrait, or square. It always looks native, never stretched or letterboxed.
